Obama leads Clinton in North Carolina by 12.43%

Clinton doing better in North Carolina

Adding the latest polls to the collection of North Carolina polls, I’ve come up with the following projections.

Barack Obama 51.09
Hillary Clinton 38.66

Clinton seems to be doing a bit better in North Carolina, although the polls keep swinging all over the place. Perhaps my prediction that the best Clinton could do was to get Obama’s lead down to 12-13% was misplaced. There is still an outside chance that Clinton can get Obama’s lead into single digits.

  1. Is it that there are no Democrats left in North Carolina except in the research triangle? What’s up with that?

  2. The big factor is that a huge portion of African-Americans will be participating in elections for the first time. These first-time voters will lead to a huge victory for Obama just like in so many Southern states.
